I am, and have always been, a believer in magnification to help enhance my ability to provide superior dentistry. I have used dental loupes or magnifiers for years, but just this week obtained a new set that provide about twice the magnification of my older set. The new loupes are about 4.5 times magnification as compared to my old ones at about 2.5 times. This will allow me to better review and evaluate the details of the teeth and gums, be more precise with fit and finish of restorations, and enhance my quality even more.
